Combine & Refine E-mail
instruction-01Structured similarly to the Basics Program, the Combine & Refine starts to do just that. By combining your basic strokes with a boat tilt and a little body English, you can achieve greater success in getting your kayak to do what you want it to do in less time and, in many cases, in less space. We’ll introduce you to the support strokes first, high and low braces, before we attempt these fun combinations. We’ll also cover the draw stroke, an important stroke that enables you to move your entire boat sideways which is helpful if you need to pull your boat over to a dock or maybe to slide next to your buddy for a quick snack or a break. After experimenting with these new skills in the morning, we’ll venture on a paddle in the afternoon to reinforce our newly acquired techniques (1 day).
