An exciting combination of instruction and practice in real conditions, the program is perfect for those who have never had formal training.  Begin the day with a discussion on boat lingo, and a reassuring introduction on what to do in case the kayak capsizes.  Then forge on to safe and efficient ways to make the boat go straight, stop, turn, and move sideways.  Spend the afternoon applying these skills in real conditions as you check out the local scenery and enjoy the wonders of nature.  Our staff will provide you with top quality instruction while ensuring you have some Serious Fun!  This is a great way to learn the skills that will become the foundation for your paddling career or just a fun way to spend a gorgeous summer day!
